Green Nano proves itself in carrots too
On an intensively irrigated carrot field in the Southern Great Plain, regular use of Green Nano cut plant protection product use by around 50%.
In 2025 we tested the effect of Green Nano in a carrot crop: on plant health, on foliage development and on how far the use of plant protection products could be reduced.
The trial took place on low-fertility, sandy soil with poor water balance. The crop was irrigated 3–4 times a week, which increased the risk of Alternaria fungal diseases – ideal conditions for testing the preventive effect.
Results
- A healthy carrot crop in good condition
- Strong, persistent foliage even in unfavourable weather – uninterrupted mechanical harvesting
- A uniform, high-quality crop
- Plant protection product use fell by around 50%
